Well now, every time I seem to think I will be able to spend more time on here and working with my writings, some nice sharp nettle comes and burst my floating bubble. I keep making promises to all of you and to my self and seem to fall short time and again. I am very sorry to all for everything I have missed, news, deviations and otherwise.
Part of the problem is that I have no drive to create. I have tried and it seems my well of creativity has ran dry. My poor projects all sit forlornly on a provable shelf in my mind, where even the spiders are reluctant to go.
And just when it seemed that I had something good and was going somewhere with it, I received a rather unkind emailed review on my "Revenge" story. I have never had some one say that hated my work, and as much as I am ok with criticism, when it is constructive, having my work maliciously dissected and destroyed,.... well it threw me for a loop. So I am attempting to figure out where to go from here. I had a sequel to that story in the works, but am a bit unsure IF I should even finish it. Considering "Revenge" was my first fan fic, I know I am not nearly as good as others, but I did think that the point of a fan fic was to put our own spin on the events.... Correct me if I am wrong, please.
So, you may or may not see the second part, assuming I can "get over myself" and write a proper one.
Other than all of that. I do hope all of you are doing well. I do still have the "Tiger Stripes" contest going on, but have only received one entry. Please. please let me know if any of you are planning on participating. If not, I will just cancel it for now.

So... it has been awhile, hasn't it? I have been trying to shuffle through alot of thing going on in my life, and things seem to be getting better now.
Anyway.. just a few things to go over. I have a new chapter of TC almost done, and will be posting that shortly. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back in the swing of things.
"Unique Inspirations" will be up and running again this weekend too.

Also, thanks to all those who have been very supportive and patient with me. I really value you all.

OH!!! I have to brag a bit too... My darling little one discovered he can not only sit up by himself, but also crawl... so corralling him has been quite a work out. To keep him in the living room, Mika and I discovered that he can't crawl over pillows just yet. Operation Pillow Barricade is put into play every morning!
And he is cutting his first tooth! Surprisingly, he has been a perfect angel, hardly cried at all, thank goodness.
Mika discovered she can dance on her tiptoes.. and very well I might add!

Just a short note to say I am sorry. I haven't responded to my messages nor looked at any of my wonderful friends deviations all weekend long. I haven't even been able to write for the past 3 days. I am drained. And this week will only be more draining on a personal level. As of right now, I can hardly comment on anything past "thanks" and "nice" and you all deserve much more than that. My mood is so darkly blue, it is closer to black and I risk being rude, something no one should be subjected to.
So I am taking this week off, completely off. I have to regroup, to make some very big decisions. I hope that once that is taken care of, I can be back fully.
Again, my sincerest apologies. Hope everyone has an outstanding week!

If asked, would you put a price on human life? More specifically, a child's life.
I would wager that most would say "NO!" in abject horror.
What about if it was for a joke.. on eBay?

One set of parents did.
They put their child up for sale in an auction. He is 7 months old.

The price... 1 euro... or $1.60 USD.
I am not joking....

As a mom of a 7 month old...I can't even begin how someone could think about joking with something like that. My Kayden is my pride and joy, and every little moment spent with him is paradise. It makes me sick trying to wrap my head around what these people did.. Seriously... if it wasn't bad enough to offer to sell him.. but at such a low price....anyone could have taken the offer in a blink of an eye.

SO I ask you... How much is human life worth?

My answer... PRICELESS!
